Thanksgiving is next Thursday and I am here in Scotland. Lame. Luckily there is another American girl on my program who is going to celebrate with me. I am also lucky to have people from other nations who are willing to partake in the festivities! This all makes me very excited.
The bad part is I need to finish a paper before next Friday, and I need to cook for the feast. Such a dilemma..haha!
I hope all of you are getting ready to spend time with family. I sure do miss mine! I wish my mom and sisters could come here to visit me and cook together!
Next Friday-Sunday my program is going to a country house in the Highlands called the Burn. It is a beautiful place with 190 acres, so tons to do to enjoy the country.

Are you having the traditional thanksgiving fare? I might like some bangers and mash, please. JK! Actually, sheperds pie sounds quite yummy. its funny to think the world does not celebrate Thanksgiving like we do. Its also like the world doesnt treat 21st birthdays the same as we do. Hummm...food for thought
